We will be congregating in loop A for evening festivities and if we can have Red X'ers get the campsites along loop A it would be outstanding. I have booked site 8 for festivities purposes. Looking forward to another fine outing. We will once again float the Spillway to Smoot Park along the Yadkin River if you prefer river fishing and those that want to fish the lake can catch a variety of fish at various access points around the lake. We will do a post Cinco de Mayo Tex-Mex type community meal on Saturday night. Looking forward to seeing you all there! Let me know if your coming and I'll add you to the list.

This is an awesome event and a primo campground on the lake. Thanks Ray! I'll be fileting fish and doing fish nugget appetizers again. Of course you guys and gals have to catch them. Last year we had spots, crappie, bream, trout and smallies!
I plan to attend, especially if there's gonna be more of those Wilkes county oysters y'all got me to try at the bay river! I GREATLY look forward to the float!
Awwww man! I won't be able to make it. While ya'll are fishing down here in NC, I'll be fishing up in Maine for some smallies.
Have fun and tight lines!
Great that you can attend the meet Gene. I have been missing those reports from the rivers over in your neck of the woods. Fishing still any good over that way.
Thanks! I hope we'll be catching LOTS of smallies. We're going up a week earlier than usual so it may end up being "too cold" for the fish. At least it should be warm down here for you all!
If I'm here next year, I'll try to make it, but I select a new set of orders next month and may not be in NC come November. We shall see!
Either way, enjoy yourselves up there, catch lots of fish, and eat lots of food!
I may be able to make the float on Saturday. Need to see how work is going to see if I can make the whole trip. If I do would anyone have space in a tent for rent? Some how our tent got lost in one of the many moves. lol.
Still have the camp stove if that is useful.
Todd
