Love that Bluegrass too, The SteelDrivers were my "gateway drug" so to speak.
You have to check out Mississippi Fred McDowell. The Rolling Stones covered his 'You Gotta Move" on Sticky Fingers in '71.

For all you music fans there is a good band called Whiskey Myers playing at Lincoln Theatre in downtown Raleigh this Saturday night (March 25th). Should be a good show and for 10 bucks can't be beat.

Gotta love that one man, one instrument, from the heart music. Going to obtain some of his stuff for playing on the regular, loved it. Thanks for the recommendation.

We've been to this little hole in the wall bar the last couple months and have seen some really talented people up there playing for next to nothing except for tips and maybe free drinks...dragging all their gear through the back door, setting it up and taking it down at the end of the night...entertaining the crowd...god love them all. Any town USA.
