    Default Quick Hit Norman

Typical summer late afternoon on Norman. Boats and jet skis all over the place when I bobbed my way across from the Hager Creek Access into a cove. Rain squall sent a lot of Rec.'s fleeing though. Trip was really just a quick get away but I did manage a fat largemouth from a quiet spot behind a dock on a jointed crank bait.

I see this as a unique opportunity to judge the judge on fish picture technique... but more seriously nice fish sir. Did you get a length?

As you know the Judge can accurately assess a digital photo using scientific and mathematical formulas. This fish measured 18.367 inches and weighed approximately 3.34372 pounds.

nice catch.. I was out on the cape fear and ran into my first skier's... must have gone by me 20 times, they were only going between 2 bridges, which unfortunately was the span i was in when they got there..

Was difficult to fish the laydowns when I had to point into their wake every 5 minutes.. I get that they want to enjoy the water too, so I'm not saying they shouldn't, but man that was annoying.

Anyway, I wish I would of been rewarded with a fish like that.

John didn't actually catch that bass, it surrendered just so it could take a selfie with "Dr. H". Mission accomplished, that picture is all over his GillBook page.
