Default DANNYBOY and I tear up Lake Lynn!

Well DANNYBOY and myself hit up Lake Lynn this morning in hopes that the wind would hold off long enough for us to do some fishing, and that it did. The morning started off slow with a few half hearted bites between the both of us. We decided to stick with soft plastics working laydowns. This is the only thing that worked for us as we both picked up one for the day.

My fish was not big in size but big for me none the less. This was my first fish of 2011, and also my first fish from the Nucanoe! This was my second trip out in the Nucanoe and as a testament to its stability I hooked and reeled in this fish standing up. So glad I have beet the 2011/kayak fishing skunk!

The wind ended up getting the better of us and we got off the water around noon.

10-4 getting to the fishing hole is part of the total package of fishing.. Fishing with friends even makes that a great deal.

That was FUN Brannon , I'm glad we got a lil fishin in before the wind was really pushin . That lake is fun to fish from a yak . Sucks we didn't get into any lunkers , the few we did catch were fun though . I liked that you caught your first bass from the yak standing up did you and fergiej do anything on wednesday ?

Went to Johnson. I caught one just under minimums for Kayak Wars Unfortunately Josh still has the skunk on board. We will fix that soon though.

If I did not have a mandantory meeting, I would be out there with ya. I have to get as much fishing in as possible before the little one is born.
