    Default Hickory Striper

    I put in at gunpowder today for the fist time, started out slow then I found a few striper trolling with my crank bait. Biggest was 11 lbs and the other was 6lbs.Click image for larger version.

    Whoa Nellie! That's the biggest landlocked NC striper I've seen in a long time. Too bad the other was just a shrimpy 6lbs .

    I lost another big one next to the yak. I gotta say them stripers fight like nothing else. Seemed like it took 10 min to finnaly get him in the net.

    Congrats Brownale on that VERY nice striper!! It had not missed any meals lately!!

    Do not have much experience with them...only one....but they really do fight great!!

    man.....now you got me thinking of going over there,this image from the crappie forums plus your experience is pushing me to go there this monday since i'm off.Nice fish btw,they are so much fun to catch.
