Pros: I have used this reference book for fishing trips to Georgia and North Carolina and found the information helpful on the creek and stream detail. This is a good book for the fly fishermen traveling to the five states mentioned. Thirty seven chapters are devoted to topography, size, access points, parking, popularity, regulations which are dated, type of trout and size to expect, casting and wading conditions and map for each of the river systems.

In preparing this first comprehensive fly anglers guide to the area, Jacobs drove over 25K miles, hiked hundreds more and consulted with many state fisheries managers and knowledgeable local anglers.
