Default First Flounder on the Fly

Not much to look at or brag about, but it was fun. First one on the fly. Was casting to reds but I'll take what I can get I reckon.

Nice! What did you catch it on and where?

Congrats! Personally, I'd rather catch a flounder.

What fly did you have tied on?

I was moving a redfish worm fly on the bottom. It was in red and bronze. Was also the first saltwater fish on a fly I tied.

Congrats on your catch. I've only caught speckled trout so far on my fly rod. How did you tie your worm fly?

I use a 2/0 saltwater hook and tie a 2in red rabbit zonker off the back. I tie on red dumbbell eyes and wrap the body with copper estaz. Easy fly and works pretty well. Reds seem to like them a lot.

    Sounds easy enough. Thanks.
