Description: Tex is a locally owned tackle shop and has been in businesss for quite a few years. Tex caters to the saltwater crowd but does have some freshwater gear. They carry many of the popular brands and are a Star Rod showroom with over 200 models in stock.

In addition to gear he carries one of the biggest stocks of frozen natural baits in the area and usually has live mud minnows on hand. He has his own ice maker and offers the cheapest ice in town.

Tex has a good selection of rod, reels and saltwater tackle. The folks that work there are very knowledgable and familiar with local fishing techinques and locations. His prices are in line with most other shops, slightly less on some items. The place does get quite busy at times but they are usually well staffed.

Pros: Large selection of Saltwater Tackle
Cons:

This is one of my favorite places. Very freindly and eager to help. They have a great selection of tackle fo your day at the beach or trip offshore.
