I have fitted it with the Shimano SEDONA 4000RB. I love the combo. The fish will not have a prayer with this rod and reel in my hand.

I have the same set-up. It works great, nice action. Just make sure you wash of the guides real well, esp. the bottom sides as they will rust pretty easily.
