Aluminum spool!! , super compact, nice wood handle touch, 3 ball bearings, pretty decent drag

Doesnt hold up to saltwater use too well, will corrode if not cleaned off same day

Awsome ultra light reel for 2 to 4 lb tests line (Mono) or braid for more capacity.
Definately a ultra mini reel, but not mini on features. I have two of these, and the drags work great! I didnt expect the drags to be as good as they are.
Got mine at Walmart in a Shakespeare bubble pack over with all the other reels. If looking to go "ultra mini" try this reel out.. think you'll be suprised!
I wont lie, I've used mine in salt... and they've worked fine for catching bait fish (pinfish.. spots, etc..) but the bail roller screw will rust out on ya if you dont rinse out and hit with some Break Free or WD-40,, so beware on that. No stainless anything on this reel..
This is an awsome first "real" reel for the kids! My son finds his easy to fish with.
