Pros: Great range and easy to use functions - includes DSC capability for distress alert
Cons: None

This is a great looking radio and it sounds even better. I added a 6' digital antenna and the range is very strong. I really like the built-in DSC capability for distress alert and registered and received my DSC call number. (See post on this site by Wellcraft Dave on DSC). I couldn't be happier with this VHF. It is very high quality and easy to use.

Pros:
Cons:

As a side bar note on this radio, it's made for Furuno by Icom. It's the same model as the M-502 and the new M-504. Icom accessories and flush mount hardware can be used with this radio.

Not doggin it or the name at all,, but it is a Icom made VHF for Furuno.
