Pros: Selection especially saltwater, service options
Cons:

North Raleigh Location.
Good and growing selection.

Not sure I've bought anything from them yet, but they've got lots of knowledge and specialty equipment, especially for saltwater - boat rods, big reels, etc... and lots of baits.

Best saltwater Gulp selection I've found in the Raleigh area.

Plenty of freshwater as well, along with hunting. Seem to be an archery specialist - I think they've got an indoor test range. Don't recall seeing guns in there, but wasn't looking for them.

Burried deep in a strip center. You'll need to go in and hunt for them.

Pros: Very nice store, especially for looking. Large line of Saltwater products for an inland shop.
Cons: Rod repair is marginal. (new guides)

I like visiting Carolina Outdoor Sportsman as they have a good selection of saltwater tackle for an inland tackle shop.
I was disappointed when I had them wrap a new set of roller guides on an old Garcia 30-80 lb. class tuna rod that I am very fond of. One of the guides was badly misaligned and they charged me $15 dollars more than they originally quoted without tax. I did not argue with them and considered it a lesson learned.
I still like to visit there but will not have them repair any more rods.

Pros: They have a vast variety of YO-Zuri and Lucky lures. Very helpful and very friendly. They are negotiable on some their rods and reels, but still competitive to other outfits.
Cons: They could have a little more tackle but it is not Bass Pro.

I am a big fan of Yo-zuri so i am a big fan.

Pros:
Cons:

Great folks and great place. They became a sponsor of the BassPack last spring and have been very supportive. What's great is they will listen to your recommendation's for products you can't find or would like to get and see what they can do to get it in.
