Description:	he Original Snapper Slapper Offshore Lure simulates a squid on the prod having a phosphorescent head, planing wings and a stinger hook that's deadly to short striking fish. It can be jigged, tipped with whole or chunk bait or try live bait affixed to the stinger hook to appear as a struggling victim caught in the clutches of an aggressive squid. Either way looks like a lit-up two-for-one, blue plate special that no big fish can resist. The Snapper Slapper can be trolled with or without bait attached. Try trolling a depth pattern with several Snapper Slappers at different depths of the water column and see the planing wings in action. You'll be amazed at all the fish you've been missing. The Snapper Slapper Lure comes in 7 different color schemes and in four different weights: 1, 3, 5 and 7 ounces.

Pros:	Catches fish!
Cons:	hard to find (ordering on line is easy though)

This is one of my favorite lures in the tackle box. I have been using these for years with excellent results. They are very versitle. I use them for sight casting, blind casting, trolling and less frequently jigging.

The snap on extra hooks are great - converting this lure into a natural bait rig in seconds - works great with ribbon fish or cigar minnows.

I target cobia, king mackerel, stripers and even mahi with these. The smaller ones work well on flounder too.
