Description: The Werner Ikelos is a top of the line paddle for those looking to make the most of their day. Starting at 24oz for a 210cm length, this paddle is half the weight of aluminum paddles and about 10oz less than fiberglass. A foam core creates a buoyant blade that pops out of the water on its own as you come through the back half of your stroke. The bent shaft option keeps your wrists in natural alinement (think curling bar) and takes the strain off your joints. The bent shaft is also designed to place the blades in the same position that they would be if the shaft was straight. This keeps a natural feel to the paddle. The blades have a very large face and grab a lot of water when needed in situations where the wind may be howling or the current may be strong.
