(I can't find this model online anymore at BPS - changes in marketing, suppliers and design may have done it in. Parts availability is probably an issue.)
Out of the box this reel felt exactly like my first BPS round reel (Pro Qualifier). Casted about the same, same handle, same frame, same weight. Did not hold up quite as well as the Pro Qualifier model over time. Drag got flakier faster, smoothness left sooner. Nothing "broken", just not as good as new.
Not a bad reel, but not great either. My advice is to spend a little more on a quality Abu, Shimano or Daiwa reel if you possibly can. They have higher quality components, better engineering and parts/service are easier to find.
Good news: Saw one on ebay with current bid of $0.99. Probably as good a $0.99 reel as you're likely to find!
