Description: Excalibur Cast Nets were designed with the vision to supply fishermen with top notch quality cast nets that are designed to open LARGER to their fullest measurement potential, sink FASTER due to higher quality thinner resin material combined with heavy lead weight ratio, be STRONGER at the cast nets' stress points such as our double selvage feature, cast easier by using the highest grade of limp netting and to also remain affordable for all cast net throwing fisherman.

The Excalibur Gold Series Cast Nets are weighted at 1.6 lb per ft. and should be used in deeper water applications where the larger and faster species of live bait school up. It's heavier marble lead design seperates itself in another league of its own because of its super fast sink rate when cast netting those hard to catch live baits when needed the most. Whether you're a goof off fisherman to a serious tournament fisherman, having the extra edge by having a well performing and fast sinking cast net can be the difference in a good days fishing to an extrordinary day of fishing. This Gold Series features the same qualities as the Silver Series cast net except for the extra weight which gives this net that leading edge in cast netting performance.

Pros: Spreads well, very limp material
Cons: a little heavy (gold series)

The Gold Series of the black pearl net is great. It spreads extremely well when thrown properly. It can be a little heavy when the net is wet. It does take a little practice to throw it but when you get your groove your covering an extremely large area. It sinks great as well.
