    Made a good choice to fish close by and for the first hour of slack tide it was dead. I told him to be ready when the tide started falling and sure enough it was on for a couple of hours.

    And when the tide started slowing down it was over just as fast as it started. Good 2 hrs

No lines at the ramps during the week, no excessive amount of boat traffic stirring up the water, no rush to get to your favorite place to beat someone else.
