Had another great Sunday on the Roanoke River. Picked up some herring from the Roanoke Sportsman and got on the water around 10 this morning. Was a little cold but well worth it. Caught 2 in the first 10 minutes then our spot went cold. Moved a little further up and caught 6 more. Brought home a 19, 2 20s, and a 21. We were checked by a wildlife officer when we returned to the ramp. He didn't hassle us too much. Just checked for life jackets, fire extinguisher, throw cushion, and registration. All in all a good day on the water. Hopefully they will be stacking up more in the coming weeks. Tight lines everyone.
