So we decided to hit some spots where we know big wild bows run this time of year. Needless to say we found them. Some spawned out some full of eggs, fish on redds, males with kype jaw. I thought it was going to be a bad day when one of my rods broke in the butt section during a roll cast at the first hole we fished,(Thank goodness for Sage's warranty) luckily I had a back up in the truck, and it turned out to be a blast, made us forget about the horrible weather and broken rods. Fish were caught on big nymphs and streamers. We also caught a lot of smaller fish as well. Biggest was 24" others were in the 19 to 21 inch range

    That is friggin' awesome! I catch small spawning wild fish on Tellicos a lot around this time of year but nothing like that. Great catch!
