Notes/Steps
1-Crimp split shot over hook, add cement and cover with mylar. Tie font and back leaving room for material tie and head.Pick out mylar on tail end.
2-tie 4 strands white yarn to each side - top with 4 strands green/black yarn. To top tie 5 strands peacock herl.
3-Add 15 strands pearl flash to each side - add 15 strands gold flash to each side.
4-In hot glue pot add green sparkle and form head on fly.(transfer and start forming with toothpick) Use wood burner to fuse eyes into head and to finish head shape.
5-Use pick to groom and trim with scissors

That is a nice piece of work Forrest. I have tied dries for mt. trout, but now I want to tie my own saltwater flies. You do good work.
