needle nose pliers, bobbin, whip finisher, crimped nylon, red or black craft beads, hooks,2 part epoxy



these are so cheap that you will no longer have to climb trees with waders on to retrieve your fly from a limb

Notes/Steps

1-with pliers straighten bend of hook enough to allow beads to clear bend.
2-place 4mm bead on hook then the 6mm re-bend hook to original shape..
3-wrap starting at front leaving room for hackle-cross over front bead and wrap in center-cross over back bead and wrap-repeat back to front.
4-tie hackle and cement.
5-make 6 or more--turn upside down-apply tiny drop 2 part epoxy to bead cavity with a tooth pick to reinforce and secure bead to hook.
