Hey Deepb...It was great to meet you as well, and yes I had a BLAST!!! I will definitely be a active member of the FAAN. Thanks for sending the link, but I'm having problems when I open it...It shows some type of welcome page, or maybe I'm doing something wrong...

Thanks Eddie- I think that we can really clean up on them some time when the wind isn't blowing so hard.

mostly any of the Jordan Water foul Impoundments, its hit or miss there though, I fish for them with only artificial lures. Some days they bite well there then you can go weeks without a bite. For more info on the water foul Impoundments you can check my friend Henrys info on Bowfin Angling in the Durham Impoundments
I have also found them in the main lake around some of the coves, Hortons pond right beside Jordan and a few creeks that lead into Jordan.

Hi deepblu, 3days after you told me about the new river float trip I fractured my back in a charity lawnmower race and my dr. said no paddling. I'll at the least come by and meet some of the guys from this site if I'm not released by then.(if you're shaking your head and saying"a lawnmower race?" I also thought it wasn't such a smart idea after I regained consciousness!)
By the way, thanks for the pics of your rod holders. Do you have a depth finder on your yak?
    Tight lines, Tim

hey deepblu! how is it going! the queen can be a really nice place to land some reds and flounders! i would use a 4 inch gulp live pink and green shrimp! also you can use pink, orange, and white jig heads with some paddle tails behind them! i would also try to get my hands on some live bait! as for fly fishing for reds i have not had the chance yet! but i would use a shrimp or crab fly on the rod! good luck out there! i wish i was going!
