Rating placard is faded with age. Personal thought is rated for 150 hp and 10 people - as are new ones. I've had 8 on it comfortably (6 were adults). It's a tri-hull. Don't know about draft. A test will tell. It looks like it sits low in the water when still, but only a measurement will tell for sure. Maybe the Hurricane site gives draft on the new model. BTW, this one is Red/white. The trailer is NC titled - to me. I'm in no hurry. We like the boat, and like having it. If this opportuniy hadn't popped up, we probably would'nt be advertising it yet. We're selling this, and another, to replace them with just one boat. Our need for two has gone away (kids grown up, moved away, friends busy, etc.) Will work on pics. Important info: It came with Pontoon boat type furniture (I bought it used), but I removed that to make it fish. I don't have the furniture any longer.

Using multiple posts to be able to use more words.

I don't have immediate answers for all of your questions. I 'spect a test run can better answer some for your own personal satisfication. I'm happy to work that out. For more detailed responses, email me at tomodachigleg@live.com. The boat is very stable. Can't campare it to pontoon. No personal experience with them. I test rode/drove a 20' pontoon when shopping for a 'group' boat. After driving/riding, I went looking for a deckboat. Haven't looked back. Tested with with only 2 people. 1991 boat and Mariner motor. Google Hurricane boats 19-20 foot model (the red/white one). They have changed very little.

My wife just got back with me. She's agreeable, so let's talk if you're interested...

-I'm more than 75 miles away, but will assist with the distance.
-No livewell built in, but lots of deck space/underdeck space, for the right design of a built in or portable.
-No fishfinder on it, but I have a VERY low use Humminbird wideview I"ve been planning to install - hadn't got a roundtuit yet.
-Price range is perfectly in the same ballpark.
    -Boat dimensions 20' by 8', Usable deck space 16' x 7'.
-Hand-controlled saltwater trolling motor on front. Boat has not been in saltwater.
    -100HP Mercury Mariner, 4 cyl, compression 115-ish, all cyls +/- 1,2 lbs.
-Side console w/ tach, speed, others (but I forget which ones)

More info with questions. Message limited to 1000 characters. So stopping for now.

How about a Deck Boat set up for fishing? I've got a 20' Hurricane Deck Boat (FunDeck) that mostly fits your description, and can be fairly easily and quickly equipped to your complete description, which we can discuss whether I do it, or help with it. I'm willing either way.

Before we get too far into discussion though, I am checking with my wife for her agreement. She and I have discussed selling/replacing this boat a few times in the last two months, but have not reached a decision yet. Your interest, should it happen, could spark a decision.

I can, of course, send pictures and more complete description. What d'ya think? Should we talk?
