Moving to the buffet line...I do enjoy a good cup of coffee and savvy early risers know that it's brewing in a classic 1950's vintage coffee pot (made in the USA even) usually around 5:30 or so. I frequently have some fine fresh hog sausage from a local farmer on the jet boil too. Conversations in the great outdoors around a picnic table and a steaming mug before most of the nation is awake is a nice way to start a day with my wonderful Red X buddies.

I’m happy to help with breakfast anyway I can. I have a 2 burner Stove, coffee pot etc. Also waiting on a friends response of attending. If he doesn’t I’ll have extra space on campsite.
I can go a different route on breakfast and make some egg omelette with biscuits / grits or hash browns. Buttermilk pancakes is also a option. Linda likes a sautéed mushroom omelette.
While we are in the area... Anyone want to go to the "Falls reservoir" of the Yadkin lake on Sunday on our way out? Supposed to be beautiful, underused, and it it has tunnels/caves you can kayak into. It's the next lake up from Lake Tillery, which we will be fishing, and the launch is on the same side of the lake that we will be on.
I ain't never caught no fish in a cave.... be a good story to tell (intentional grammar).
Thought a list of who was attending would be nice.

Is there power at campsites? Not as critical as before. I had severe apnea before and would wake the dead without CPAP then feel like crap the next day. After weight loss, it is moderate and I can get by without it for a night or two. I haven't yet, but sleep doc told me it isn't as much of a concern. Still would prefer power if it is available.
I quit eating beef and pork a couple of years ago so I will probably bring turkey or chicken sausage, maybe a foil pouch of shrimp; something for a small spot on a grill.
Thanks Len for letting me know about this little event! Ted, I would be looking at getting a tent site or sharing one, I'll see what's available, I can sleep in the Subaru worst case scenario. Cajun food? Now your talking!

That's 8 weeks after surgery. I think I am a very strong maybe. Will see what the doc says Monday. It will probably be an answer with caveats, but for a lot of reasons I will be pushing hard, doing max resistance for max repetitions in PT.
You got room for another tent or do I need to book another site? Looks like the closest tent site is 85 at this point.
I've been doing a lot of things lately and not getting on here as much. Just seeing this post and feeling like camping in March, and of course fishing, with a bunch of Red X'ers sounds like fun.
