Ah, the marks of Fall: Leaves changing, temperatures cooling, wind whipping . . . . and Curtis' pics of massive trout.

    Is there anything better??

Haha!! Now that's funny right there Curtis.

I sure couldn't get a post award with this weekend's report. Went down to Brown's Saturday with about 150 other trout seekers and the bite was way off. We caught 4 spikes just before the tide started to roll in and nothing during the rest of the incoming. We couldn't stay for the afternoon falling tide so I can't say how that went.

I met Rabbit down in Wrightsville Sunday morning and did pretty much the same. Caught 4 spikes early on the incoming and nothing the rest of the day as far as trout were concerned. We did catch a mother load of lizards and quite a few 13-14" flounder. Rabbit did manage 2 keeper flounder on that big ole 6" savage shrimp. It's ugly but it works for Rabbit.

I hope others will chime in on their weekend report wither it was good or bad, I'm beginning to think it's about time to hit the creeks.

I couldn't hit the "like" button for the spikes, but I am glad that Rabbit found the keeper Flounder. That is an accomplishment in its self.
