Dennis right now I can put you in a boat if you want...don't seem like anyone else will be bringing a kayak...but that might change...

I hope to get a couple more boats by then... I'll go ahead and put you on the list...

Tim, that water can get really rough at times, but most of the time it would be OK. I don't like getting wet.

Scott, doesn't matter which boat, just so it isn't close to sinking. TY for putting me on the list. I feel better now.

Scott, the boat I have is a 14 foot, with a 25 HP outboard, that doesn't run well part of the time. It is just a little deeper and a little wider than other boats of it's size. It also has a slightly rounded front end on it. I've never taken it on water that open before. Closest I've gotten to it is at the ramp at Vandemere. Not sure if it would be OK. You never know whaen that water will get rough, and it will be in March.

10-4 RouseD....that area can get rough real quick if the wind gets up...so its best to be in a
larger boat..I have you down and now all we need is the boat..

Get on down to the Neuse towards Spring Gardens and catch some shad ...they make good cut
    bait for stripers and catfish...

I posted a few pages back for lures and flies to use for stripers..
