Check out Tommy Emmanuel sometime. Plays the acoustic but it's rock n roll

Rocky George on lead and Mike Clark on rhythm would be my favorite all time guitarists, but that's just my musical taste.

Just saw a post that Nokie Edwards of the Ventures has passed away. Wipeout, Walk don't run, California Surf music. I didn’t think to mention him, one of the good ones....RIP

I'm not going with best cause I've never played and am not qualified but I can say who I like.
    A couple not mentioned already...

Glen Tipton from Judas Priest! He has had to retire recently due to Parkinson's.
Steve Stephens from Billy Idol. Look up a recent solo from him and he will blow your mind.

There are so many others that have already been mentioned.

    Great thread!

Neil Schon definitely and Eddie Van Halen. Yes I know they have been mentioned, but those were the first 2 that came to mind when I saw the post.

Yes, he was very good and very young....tragic how he died. I'm sure Ozzie was devastated by his death.

Pretty sure Ozzie was nuts prior to that...when your own band black sabbath kicks you out there are issues.
