    Default Rose bay

Tried our luck in rose bay on 8-14. About a dozen short flounder and dozen short trout. One keeper flounder 22” and 15” trout. Bait EVERYWHERE. Talked with a few guys at the ramp and was about the same across the board. One group had 5 keeper flounder but that was best report I heard. All our fish caught on gulp and zman minnowz.

we had 9 keeper flounder and 3 keeper drum and a throw back because we had our limit out of there Tuesday, and 4 keeper flounder 2 trout both 21" and 3 keeper drum with another throw back because we had out limit again today. if i was looking flounder i would defiantly move out to saltier water. lots of short flounder. first trip this year where the flounder were a little harder to come by. i think the rain pushed a lot of the flounder to saltier water.

i was using live bait but the best advise i can give you is find bait that is getting cut on. all the fish we caught that had any size were under bait pushed up on the bank getting busted on. most were caught pretty early in the mourning.
