This is looking more and more fun! First real camping trip of the year.
I will have to hit road early Sunday... Meeting some friends to attend a revolutionary war reenactment at Guilford Courthouse.
After all is said and done.... A heck of a lot more will be said than done

Would be extra outstanding if we got weather like we had this week.

H2ohhh, Dr. H, Judge H...what the H? Nucanoe Frontier 12.
Weather is fantastic here in Florida at Fort Desoto fellas. Temp 83 degrees and a nice ocean breeze. Heading back to the cold tomorrow, and may I say I’m not looking forward to leaving warm temps and saltwater breezes.

Old Coot Red X Angler with a in my dreams only bucket list.
Sadly the report is no fishing was involved this time. Went to see Mother in-law who fell broke her wrist and hurt her back. I was able to get away for a short time and do some exploring for upcoming camping / fishing trip. 2 weeks from today we will be setting up camp for 4 days of kayak / pier / surf fishing. Hope to have a good report of fish being caught and some pics then. If we have the temps and weather conditions I just left it will be some awesome camping and fishing weather.
Local report from bait shop was reds, flounder, Trout and a snook were being caught in channel of the pic I posted.

Getting closer to the first camping freshwater meet of the year. Hoping the weather pattern changes from this deluge of rain we have been having.

Most years, that spot in my yard is dry most of the time. The hill continues across the street from me. When it is a rain or two, even heavy ones, in a short period of time it's just runoff from my yard and the water from the rest of the hill goes down the storm drain. But when we have soaking rains off and on for a while, it affects the water table and some of it is going under the road and perking up in my yard. Crazy stuff!

I sure hope the wet weather will ease up soon. From what I understand the campground is on a higher elevation from the water. I’m hoping that the lake level and flow will have eased up by the time we get there. On another note is anyone going to the Greensboro fishing show this weekend? I’m going on Saturday
