Might focus on crappie that time of year. But there are alot of species in Tillery including Stripers.

I need to bring a Sabiki rig then. Should work well on catching multiple crappie.

Depends on water temperature. Hope I can get my fish finder working again to look for schools of fish in deeper water if it's still cold. I'll likely paddle up into the mouth of the Uwharrie too. I've taken some cats (on half a crawler) and largemouth in there. Possible (but not common) to catch a smallie too, especially early in the year.

There is if you can mark them on a depthfinder. They'll be in 20-30 feet, unless they are busting bait.

Have you had any one bait or lure that has worked well on catching them. I can go that deep easily with a weight that you attach a lure to. Wish I could remember the name of that thing it works well

I'd drop a shiner down there. Or jig a spoon over them. I've never fished the lake proper though. I'll probably work docks and points for bass and crappie. Crappie nuggets...yum.
