I never fish with livebait but would love to see what you got going.
I tinkered with a little worm farming in my earlier days. I raised whatever I could dig out of the ground and hope they had relations in my bucket of dirt, leaves paper and coffee grounds.
I actually searched for similar posts not long ago and didnt find a ton of information on it. Would be interested in the nuances between red wigglers and night crawlers. most of the worm boxes on youtube are catered toward wigglers.
Red wigglers are an ok crappie bait. Minnows and jigs are still best though.
But for perch, bream and catfish, it's hard to beat worms.
I already did the post in this forum for worm growing how-to. Check it out if you haven't already. I put lots of time into the post- 4 years of experience raising worms went into that post.
