Hey guys,

I raise bait worms(and it keeps my freezer full of perch fillets)

Would any of you like to learn how I do it? Will be glad to post pics of the setup, feed, and the kinds of worms I use.

Right now i'm raising red wigglers, european nightcrawlers, african nightcrawlers, and louisiana swamp worms.

I've not bought bait in years. If there's interest i'll post a full instructional.

I never fish with livebait but would love to see what you got going.

I tinkered with a little worm farming in my earlier days. I raised whatever I could dig out of the ground and hope they had relations in my bucket of dirt, leaves paper and coffee grounds.

Red wigglers are an ok crappie bait. Minnows and jigs are still best though.

But for perch, bream and catfish, it's hard to beat worms.

I already did the post in this forum for worm growing how-to. Check it out if you haven't already. I put lots of time into the post- 4 years of experience raising worms went into that post.
