In non related news...I had a pinhole leak in the wall of my dining room that ran for a couple of months until discovered. After removing the subfloor it was very cool to find the original 120 year old oak floor underneath it.

Rare to see would floors like that anymore, beautiful oak flooring. You going to bring it back to to its original glory or replace what you had down.

For the time being Iím putting plywood on top and reinstalling the nice GermŠn laminate flooring. But Iím thinking about it. Biggest issue is heating costs and sealing those floors underneath. Nothing but dirt under them in the crawl space. I also discovered shiplap tongue and groove behind the sheetrock. I may expose some of that on a wall or two for decorative purposes. Iíll

The site must have some automated feature that posts the last picture in the thread on the post subject. My floor is not representative of this epic event. Therefore....this youngster nailed a crankbait off the first point from the put in.

The house also has the original tongue and groove shiplap behind all the Sheetrock. I am going to expose a wall or two of that and sand and paint. But itís fishing season and after I replace the laminate in that room Iím shelving any major work for awhile. Mrs. H, worlds most expensive woman, has a farm table being built now. Sheís the only reason Iím not retired yet. At this rate Iíll be working until you guys say some nice words and release my ashes in the lagoon behind Bear Island.

For those making their first trip to Kerr Scott, the water is very clear and drop dead gorgeous in the right conditions. Fluoro leaders or line recommended.

The side streams of Cub Creek and Reddies River have already started to get stocked with trout and they will be again the week of our event. Hopefully the clear weather will remain and the Yadkin float will be on the calender. Bring a stringer some fish nuggets I feel are in the future. Here are some pictures that are from last years event.
