Powell so far is the only post on food for the Saturday meal. I will bring the chocolate sheet cake that Linda usually makes for a dessert if that is cool with everyone.

So on the subject of food, I have never been to River’s Edge but it seems from previous years’ post that there is a ‘facility’ we are able to use? Am I right about that? Like a place to plug in a crock pot, or a stove or oven we can use? I can bring a chili, or a beef/vegetable soup, or a chicken salad, etc. But it would help to know if there is a place to prepare it. Or if I need to bring along grills or camp stoves or propane fire rings from home?

Somebody, please enlighten me? I am so looking forward to attending and finally meeting with you fine folks! I plan to arrive on Friday by noon. Do we have a head-count yet?

I dont belive they have any cooking stoves etc they only supply a closed room out of the elements and flys for us to sit down and eat. All your food items sound good

Im getting excited Ive heard some good things about the fishing in Bay River last couple weeks. A guy caught a nice cobia last nite soaking bait for old drum. Trout bite has been good as well.

Do we have a Host person spearheading this one? Grey Ghost or Darryll?

Can we congregate at some place so we know who is all there or a place to check in, maybe a red x flag tent or camper with a check in board we can write our names in. Name tags would be awesome if someone could remember to bring them.? What food items do we need Im still on the fence about what to bring. Maybe I could bring ice and drinks or tea if enough food items are covered? Last time we were short on paper plates and forks too.

Darrell is the head on this trip. The folks in campers will be spread out but I've never seen other tents other than us at the campground
