I can bring a chili, or a beef/vegetable soup, or a chicken salad, etc. But it would help to know if there is a place to prepare it. Or if I need to bring along grills or camp stoves or propane fire rings from home?

Somebody, please enlighten me? I am so looking forward to attending and finally meeting with you fine folks! I plan to arrive on Friday by noon. Do we have a head-count yet?
We do not "cook" in the office/community room. But there is electricity at the campsites, and I will be staying in one of the campers and will have a stove, oven, and Microwave. And if you need to plug up a crock pot and leave it unattended while you are fishing you can do that in the camper as well.

Ok guys, thanks for that information. It helps with my preparations and packing. I will prepare a couple gallons of beef and vegetable soup on Thursday, so all I have to do is warm it up. I will also bring some styrofoam cups or bowls and plastic spoons.

See you all in about ten days!

Most of the time we head to the Italian place on Friday night...... The subs are delicious and huge. Plan on breakfast and maybe a snack the next day

Well went to check out the boat, make sure everything is running right, etc., and it's got a problem. Not sure if my boat is gonna make it with me this year.

That being that case, I'm sure everybody will be arguing over who gets to take this lucky charm out on their boat, but I've already got a solution to this so never fear. For only $5 per ticket, you can enter a raffle with a real hand made ticket (might look a lot like a blade of grass), I'll have a drawing on day one of the M&G, and the winner get's to take me on their boat Friday and Saturday, and one lucky runner-up can take me for a couple hours Sunday morning. You're welcome.
