I can tell you that the flow rate is dropping quickly. The weather forecast is dry all week so conditions should be primo. An early start is advised so as to beat the pleasure floaters. You will be amazed at the bank erosion indicating the height of the river just a month ago. In the interest of avoiding increased marital discord I will be home this weekend as Iíve fished and camped the last two....and Iím heading to trout fish the smokies the following weekend.

Greetings to any earthlings who survived the Facistbook onslaught to this website. If any are still here do you have contact information for Dustin on Facistbook or other media? I need to find out if he's available to shuttle us.

He is doing a booming business but I am sure he will work out something. Fulton Bridge is out for a long time but the put in and portage around are both still OK. The Wagoner and 221 put ins had some washing and damage but were OK over the weekend.

I saw the gauge height at 10 feet (about 2.5 is normal) and flow rates at 10,000 cfs (normal is around 350). I'm surprised Garvey Bridge is still there much less Fulton Reeves! And the portage around Fulton is a challenge for old farts with a Nuke 12, especially when wet.

Thanks for the contact info Darrell

Just 31 days to setting up camp and heading over to Shatley Springs for dinner with some early arriving Red Xrs. Missed out on the fellowship and meal at Kerr Scott, really looking forward to this one more than ever.

Hoping for a dry July. That river has been mighty high and fast this year. Also hoping for good weather for camping!

Official float list this year will be the throwback secret Friday float from Roan Creek at its mouth on Bill Bledsoe Road. Saturday from 221 Access to Dustin's (pending his availability) and Sunday morning from J.E. Gentry Rd bridge to 221. More direction on these to come. Anyone deviating from these floats must arrange their own shuttle.

What no Powell hanging in the trees and a tarp for for selective beverage consumption. Nah canít be true there is always Powell to get things going.

Count on my son Jacob there.... I am only bringing one 80 qt food cooler, so he may scavenge the other camp sites....

I will also have a tent mate, who likes to kayak but is new to fishing.... I told her that's a likely winning situation for the awards ceremony.

    OH yeah.... disqualified. I know.

just to get it out of the way.... food, food, food.... disqualified.... secret floats rumored to exist in another universe. disqualified, food, food, food.... Lost kayakers.... plastic ketchup dispensers...disqualified.... food, food, food.... portage?...food... disqualified.... John's ******* son gets lost in the wilderness..... food.... I think that's about it.
