We're good, got the time off! I threw Thursday in for good measure for anyone wanting to try another section of the river we don't normally float.

May well be interested. Never did North Fork... they just opened methodist home to 88.... And I will have a VA license this year as well.

Thursday evening after setting up camp Iím going to Shatley Springs for dinner. I believe it has been about 13 years since I last had a meal there. If anyone would like to go let me know so a time can be arranged to meet your time schedule.

I’m in, for the fellowship, early morning coffee/bacon/sausage, campfires, apple pie, small mouths, shatley springs, and whatever other adventures that this trip has in store..

I'm planning to show up Wednesday night. Shatley sounds good for Thursday night. I've only had breakfast there.

I am booked for Friday, Saturday. I hope to make it Thursday but it depends on a few other things.

Given the state of division in our country I am not sure if I will be allowed to use the Judges Chambers for the Saturday night State of the River Awards Ceremony. I am still trying to get Nancy Carpface Pelosi to agree to build a wall to prevent illegal tubers from impacting our lives. Originally I wanted the Mexican Christmas Tree Workers to pay for it but that didn't work out.

For those of you adept at finesse fishing do NOT use the 4" zoom lizard in watermelon on a 1\0 hook with a tiny split shot. It has been declared illegal by the Judge for prizes. This and other new rules (including Thursday pre float violations) can be found in the 2019 RedX Tournament Rulebook at www.fakenewsblues.com. If you're not sure of what this bait looks like here is an illustration.

I did not realize it had been so long since I was at the New M&G, just looked at past registrations, and it was 2015! I'm fixing that this year, and hopefully my soon to be 14 yo son will be with me on site 30 arriving Thursday. Not sure why, cause I know there has never been, nor will there ever be a Friday float.

So for those Thursday floaters, keep me in the loop about what you're/we're doing Thursday, I hope to make the drive from Bragg to Boone Wednesday evening so I'll only be about 30 minutes away from the campground Thursday morning.
