Default Lake Hickory with Dbeam today

Today was a little odd. I met Dbeam, he was in his yak, I was in the kaboat. We marked lots of fish on the sonar, but they were only biting in one small area of a cove.

I wound up with plenty of perch, some bluegill, and some jumbo sized perch. Louisiana swamp worms got most of the bites, but I also got a perch on the kastmaster.

There's enough fish here to stink a large amount of grease.

Agreed! The man epitomizes southern hospitality. It was a fun trip even if we didn't catch 100.

Yeah, all white perch this time. I wound up catching some of the biggest white perch i've seen since I started fishing hickory. Just cleaned them now, female fish full of eggs.
