For a snack for around noon time Iím bringing 2 pounds of Honey Baked Ham with some Kings Hawaiian Buns with Mayo and Mustard. Easy to do and no cooking involved = more fishing time.

While I usually bring Yankee Dogs I may cook up some ham and eggs sammiches on a bun with cheese for breakfast. Coffee too.

Well, dang. Looks like I'll be missing out on the hooman grubs, too. Sorry to say, I am unable to get a backup to cover for me so won't be joining you all. Thanks for the invite. I look forward to the photos.

Sorry you guys won't make it. Promises to be epic with the mullet blow in full swing (I was in the area earlier this month) and water temps finally dropping (it's 75 now and will be around 70 I'm guessing with cool nighttime air temps between now and then). The fishing should be very good. We will not be impeded but the kite festival this year either so those staying over Saturday night should be able to catch the later ferries back to Southport instead of driving.

Only 9 days left to fun & fishing the sandy beach at the Fort. We really need at least 2 of these get togethers. Once a year just doesnít fill my passion for fishing the salt.

i'm really looking forward to this trip, not too far off now. John, should I pick up some frozen mullet and/or shrimp, or do you think you froze enough to hold us over?

John said yesterday that he couldn't make it. But I've got some frozen shad I need to check how many I have left over

John not attending this meet is new to me. That kills some activity I was planning.

Drug test for Agger. I'll be there. I should have enough mullet to hold us over. With the water still warm I expect I'll be able to get some more.
