    Default Line Recommendation?

Any opinions on general line size for braid on an all purpose trout/flounder combo.. 200 series reel, 6'7 medium action rod? I was going to go with 20# braid and a 6' flouro leader @ 15#

Go with 10# braid, if you plan on fishing lures & not bait.
If you fish bait stick with 20# braid..... ICM

If you end up not liking it try FINS braid - excellent line. I highly recommend Berkely VANISH fluoro also.

10-15 Power Pro or Kastking braid. I have rods with both and no problems with either.

I use 15 pound power pro (the original). You can certainly get by with less than 6 feet of fluoro leader IMO. That stuffs expensive.

FYI - Cabela's currently has PowerPro on sale. I like the original and picked up 150 yard 20# spools for $7.49 each.

10 pound power pro and 18 inches of 15 pound sea striker monofilament leader is all I use for tossing artificial baits inshore.

What about color choice? Does it matter inshore?

I use blue braid on my reels and my buddy uses yellow.... just preference of the fishermen. Kast King in 15 pound braid.. 1000 meters for about 30 bucks.... can't go wrong with that.
