    Default Stocking the neighborhood pond

A few years ago we had a pond management company survey and stock our neighborhood pond. We already had a population of smaller bass, bluegill, crappie and cats along with gizzard shad for forage. The company recommended getting rid of the crappie and stocking 140 Northern/Florida strain bass, 1200 bluegill and some fathead minnows. Now 3 or so years later the fishing is pretty much the same as before we stocked it. Bass average a pound and anything above 3lbs. is rare. We have TONS of shad that you can see in schools swimming around in the evenings. Is there any hatcheries in the Raleigh are where we could purchase 15 to 20 bass in the 5lb range to stock? The pond is about 10 acres. Any help is appreciated.
