    Default Bass fishing

I live in Wilmington, Nc and I'm trying to find a good bass fishing area. Anyone have any good recommendations?

Bank fishing, kayak, power boat, or? Not the greatest area for bass but there are several options. Greenfield Lake in the city, Sutton Lake, and ponds are good bets close by.

Redfish apparently have a magic spell they cast that can make you forget about largemouth. Don't ask me how I know.

Some may say not too many options around here but I disagree. I pretty much strictly bass fish. All these rivers hold them; from Cape Fear to the Tar. The further up the better (like scraping bottom of boat further up.). Prior to Florence, they were all really good and fun. Since Florence, done sir, done. Bass fishing has plummeted. Until the recuperate, I’d recommend more inland to the lakes.
