    Default Ocean Isle 9/14 - 9/21

Anybody fish the beach at Ocean Isle? I know this hurricane has probably had a negative impact on the fishing. Just wondering if it's still worth making the trip in regards to fishing?

I fished Holden Beach last weekend 9-7 & 9-8, I had great drum bite Sunday morning. The fish were biting. I caught red &black drum, blues, whiting, pompano and the usual assortment of spots, pinfish, croakers, and ladyfish. Headed back this weekend myself

Sounds good man! Thanks for the reply! Any size to the reds? Slot Size? I was hoping to find some Spanish in the mix. Hopefully the water will continue to clear up over the coming days. I'll be down mid day on Saturday if you fish Sunday and are up for it I'm always happy to join forces with fellow anglers!

Same results at ocean isle Sunday. Lots of 14-18" reds, flounder, ladyfish, blues, small rays and one huge 4-5ft one fought for over an hour.

Sounds good! I appreciate the feedback. I'll gladly catch drum that size. Maybe even get lucky and find an old drum in a hungry mood. Thanks again! Tight Lines.
