    Default Lake James 10/10

Started fishing right at sun up. I was targeting Walleye, White Perch and White bass. Water temp 72-74.. Caught a large catfish on one of my Walleye death hook rigs, thought I had a monster Walleye. I was trolling 2 bottom bouncing Walleye death hook rigs, 2 crank baits, 2 multi hook bottom rigs for perch and white bass. Gotta love planer boards! Fishing was ok until around 4:30, the lake came alive with schools of baitfish being busted to surface. Kept a dozen large White Perch. Caught and released 16 White Bass, 9 Smallmouth from 2lbs to almost a 4lb'r. Caught the smallmouth trolling Rapala rainbow trout and shiner colors. Caught the perch and some of the White bass using snelled hooks with spinners baited with worms. I stayed until around 9pm, would of stayed longer but was wore out from being there all day. Next trip will be full moon and a over nighter this coming weekend. Any one wanting to join in, give me a yell.

After 2 trips to Rhodhiss for Stripers and getting skunked on them. I needed a day on the boat like this. The water looked like it was boiling from the bait pods. Should of taken video but I was too busy catching
