    Default Finally, after 14 years!!

Well I finally broke my wife down enough and convinced her the family needs a boat. Picked it up earlier this month and have enjoyed the heck out of it. Got it just in time to get on the tail end of some tubing weather, was enjoying that until I found the big rock pile on Falls Lake. A new prop, and some JB Weld on the skeg and we are back in business. We are going camping this week on Jordan, anyone know where we might find some Crappie out there this time of year? Thanks!

Looks like you go out of Ledge Rock at Falls. Anywhere beyond the danger buoys at Rollingveiw going up towards cheek road and beyond can be dangerous if you get out of the channel, especially on low water. Be sure to consult a map or use a map chip if you have a GPS unit.

Congrats on the new boat! And JB Weld has been my go to fix many times. Just be careful on Jordan lake, lots of trees that stick up and hit your prop and your hull. I've been on that lake for decades, I know where most of the danger areas are, and even I still sometimes hit the darn trees.
