    Default Wilmington guides or fisherman

Ok, so I just picked up my new to me 1820 flats master boat. I've not done much inshore shallow fishing down at the coast, and no fishing in Wilmington and would really like to link up with someone who can show me the ropes. I am 100% ok with paying a guide or any knowledgeable person to come out with me for a day on the boat to show me some basics. I'm wanting to focus on redfish, speckled trout, etc in the Wilmington area. I'm from Youngsville which is north of Raleigh so I'm definitely not local, and therefore I'm open to other suggestions close to the Wilmington area. I have read through the speckled trout tips etc, but would like to shorten the learning curve as much as possible as it's a 2+ hr drive each way for me towing the boat. Again I'm not asking for secret spots or free advice. If you're a guide I'll pay you, or if you just know the area and want a free day out on a boat and can give me some tips that works too. I'd like to find a couple of people to fish with down there as the wife and kid don't always come along. The boat is a 99 flats master, has power pole, trolling motor, live wells etc. Well I hope to hear from some of you soon! Also any other random advice, suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Here are a few other good guides......
Tommy Mungo c/o Mungo Inshore Fishing Charters....https://www.facebook.com/mungofishingcharters/
Ray Brittain c/o Spring Time Guide Service..... https://www.facebook.com/springtideguideservice/
I have fished with both over the years & both are excellent teachers , fun to be with & good friends......ICM

PM me for any advice, help & therapy counseling?
Why counseling, you ask? Because you're going to need therapy, you just don't know it yet..

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'll be reaching out to these guys over the next several days. Does anyone know if they will guide on my boat vs going on theirs? It's not a money thing, I just want someone to possibly show me the ways to maximize my boats strong suits, ie: it can get super duper shallow etc, and maybe get places a lot of bay boats can't.

A few years ago I went with this guy...when he supplied the boat:

    https://www.rod-man.com/

He has since changed to "guide on your boat" which appears to be what you're looking for.
