    Default Lake Hickory shad

Wanting to take a friend out this weekend after some striper. Was hoping someone could help me out with where bait is right now. Been since spring since I have been out. Any help appreciated. Will repost with report after I go. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Figured that's where I'd have to start. They near the ramp or up in the back?

Near the Ramp, but most of what I have seen were threadfin. I have not been up there but there should be some Gizzards around Rhodhiss dam or 321.

For Stripers, which is better. The Threadfin or the Gizzard ?

I do not have much knowledge when it comes to using Shad. I will have to look at some pics, so I know the difference.

Gizzard will be larger. Thread fin are normally small an skinny. Also your gizzard will have a big nose on them.
