\r\n Fished the North Creek area late morning/all afternoon. Water temps 46.3 to 50.5 as the day wore on. Caught my personal best speckled trout on a 1/8 oz jig with a Gulp 3 inch chartreuse swimming mullet. Very slow hopping retrieve, every 5-6 seconds so slooowww.

\nGood strike and then dead weight, after a few seconds felt some head shakes and then came to the surface where I could see it. Knew it was a good fish覧took my time, but then it woke up right at the boat. Took me 4 tries with the net. 23 1/4 inch. Made my day. Also caught 2 16 inchers and a small drum. Worked hard for my trout limit but just could not connect on #4.
