    Looks like the wildlife folks are going to try to rid all lakes of bass. They are getting ready to adopt a no limit policy on spots. When I say bass, I mean all bass. Many folks wouldn't know a spot from a smallmouth so there will be many buckets of fish going home to the grease. I love catching those spots and they have saved many a day fro me when I couldn't get the largemouth to bite! Hate to see them wiped out for food when crappie and catfish are much better eating in my opinion.

    I've fished the creek directly below the Belews dam several times, and I've caught quite a few spots in there. That means when they let water out it's possible that they could be getting washed into the Dan River which is only about a quarter mile downstream.
