    Caught a few Triggerfish today off an ICW dock........ICM

    I was going to say. I've never really seen them that close,but I have seen them offshore this time of year. I love eating triggerfish!

    How far out did you have to venture for these guys. Ive been wanting to get after some BSB something fierce for table fare.

    Not far go to ChumBuckets dock when he's cleaning Triggerfish. He may throw you a few.......
    This was my idea of a poorly done prank.
    Boredom was setting in from not catching Trout that day.......ICM

    Any near shore wreck of structure will usually hold Triggerfish. Usually they start showing in numbers around late April/Early May and are pretty common until October or so. You can catch them year around,but most common May-Oct. The ones we've caught this time of year were farther offshore,again on Wrecks and structure.
    When they're thick, they're kind of like Bream,catch one, you're liable to catch a lot. Once you get past the skin, they are good to eat.

    Friend of mine told me he saw some early Mahi on the beds in Alligator Bay
