Me and a few buddies rented a house on the Lockwoods Folly river until Sunday. One of the guys is bringing his boat down with him today so we’ll hop around fishing inshore

I haven’t seen many fishing reports for this time of year, what’s biting and does anyone have any pointers? Thanks

We went to the reefs off Oak Island today. Only a few 10” sea bass. Did better with artificial shrimp than real mullets.

Did about the same today, caught four 8-11inch Sea Bass and about 40 Sea Mullet, also one decent sized Blue

Another day, not much interesting to report. Caught about 100 Sea Mullet with some Blues and Small Sea Bass mixed in.

Would kill to catch a big trout or drum

Sorry yeah I forgot, we had 4-5 pretty big pufferfish as well. Hopefully we can find the drum or trout today

It’s hit and miss along the Big Davis Canal. Some are catching a batch of trout (many small), others are catching some nice black drum. I caught a feisty small blue off my dock the other day but many are catching very little. We had some rain and it has turned cold and the fish are trying to figure out what is going on. Good luck and tight lines.
